500 grams chickpeas (boiled and drained)
4 tablespoons virgin olive oil
1 lemon, juiced
2 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
¼ teaspoon freshly ground Mahbir Whole Tellicherry Peppercorns
3 tablespoons tahini
sea salt, season to taste
1 teaspoon Mahbir Smoked Paprika Powder
If you’ve got the time, it’s always a nicer touch to boil your own chickpeas. In the hummus, it will give a more rounded earthy taste profile.
