We want to introduce more people to the real taste of high quality teas, herbs and spices. We’re currently shipping throughout the UK, mainland Europe and to North America.

If you are not located in one of these regions, please contact us to discuss the possibilities. We’ll try our very best to send you our products.

Shipping Partners & Rates

We’ve negotiated preferential rates with Royal Mail, Post NL and DPD. Based on your location, we’ll use the partner that has given us the best rate for your chosen delivery address. We want to be fair to you, so we have not added any premium or administration charges to our shipping rates. You’ll pay exactly what we are charged by the shipping provider.

Processing & Dispatch Times

We aim to process and dispatch your order within 48 hours. Once your order is confirmed, Mahbir will contact you personally by e-mail with more information on when and how your order will be delivered, including the tracking details. We’ll keep in touch with you until your order is in your hands. If due to circumstances beyond our control your order is delayed, we’ll contact the relevant shipping partner on your behalf and we’ll keep you updated on the status and anticipated delivery date.

VAT & Duties Information

UK & European Union Customers

For consumer orders made in the UK and the European Union, we are now legally obliged to charge the VAT rate applicable in the country you have listed as the delivery address at the point of checkout.

Import Duties

Following the United Kingdom’s departure from the European Union, we’ve taken measures to reduce the impact on purchases made by those located in the UK or in the European Union.

If you’re ordering from the UK, your purchases will be dispatched from our facility in Coventry, and so no additional import duties will be applicable. For orders made by those in a country in the European Union, your purchases will be dispatched from our facility in Amsterdam, and so no additional import duties will be applicable.

If you are ordering from the United States or Canada, you will be fully liable for all import duties, customs charges, and VAT, and for any orders returned to us after non-collection or customs refusal. Failure to do so may result in your order being refused customs release, being destroyed or further legal action.

Returns Policy

Mahbir gives his personal touch to each and every product. With both our products and service, we aim to exceed your expectations. If you have any concerns, you can contact us at any time.

If your order is delivered in a faulty condition (e.g. if the product is in a defective condition or was damaged during transport), we’ll gives you the right to have the damaged items replaced or get your money back within 30 days. Initially, the return request for the replacement of the faulty items should be made by e-mail and we’ll contact you directly to resolve the issue, and if applicable provide a refund or arrange a new delivery.

If the item delivered differs from what was purchased, either by type or quantity or by lacking a quality feature, which has previously been agreed in writing on the Mahbir website, you may return the product-to-be-checked so that the mistake can be verified, and the item/product will be replaced. In such cases, the return cost shall be borne by Mahbir Europe, provided that the instructions provided by us are followed by you, the customer.

For non-faulty items, you have the right to return them within 30 days of receipt, but the return postage costs are at your own expense. Although a full refund on the item cost will be given, and not the delivery costs that were incurred to dispatch your order in the first instance. Refunds will be given on all items within 7 days of receipt, subject to them being in an unused, unopened condition. For such requests, please contact us for more details.

Delays beyond our control

Please keep in mind that we’ll try our very best to ensure you receive your order in the shortest timeframe possible. Your order may be delayed due to reasons such as:

  • In periods of extreme weather conditions or strikes, as well as in the event of force majeure, which may affect the transport and delivery of your order
  • In the event that telephone and/or e-mail communication is not possible
  • If there is a problem with your order related to the the product ordered; its payment; the information you have provided as not properly updated
  • Peak shipping periods such as Easter, Christmas and Ramadan

If such instances happen, we are not liable to provide any discount or refund whether it’s partial or complete. This does not affect your statutory rights.
